Black Loch Fishery

All 124 acres of the Black Loch have been transformed into one of Central Scotland’s newest and largest boat and bank fly fishing facilities.
The Loch is stocked on a weekly basis with several different types of trout including Brown, Rainbow and of course… Hard Fighting Blues.
The Black Loch Fishery is FLY FISHING ONLY.

Fishing is by Permit only and ALL Permits MUST be paid for prior to commencing fishing. Please book in advance to guarantee your booking.

General Terms of Usage

2. Fly fishing only.
3. No fish finders.
4. Once an angler has caught his limit, catch and release is allowed.
4. Bag limits and finishing times must be adhered to strictly. All catch returns, must be recorded in the book provided.
5. Anglers who reach their limit catch may not catch additional fish to assist a less successful angler in attaining their limit.
6. Life-jackets must be worn. It is our policy that every angler must wear a life preserver to gain access to boats and jetty and must be worn at all times.
7. Anchor and nets provided in every boat.
8. Drogues must be dipped before fishing.
9. Barbless hooks must be used for catch and release.
10. Boats must be at least 50 yards away from other boats on the loch and at least 50 yards from bank anglers.
